High school teachers have an opportunity to refine their approach to preparing students for the Social Studies 30-1 Diploma Examination. Led by Dwayne Girard, this session offers a closer look at Part A: Written Response and Part B: Multiple Choice. While no formula ensures student success, this session will explore the intent behind exam design, aligning assessment with the program of studies and emphasizing ways to foster critical thinking. Participants will gain practical strategies for helping students engage meaningfully with course content. Dwayne is the former Social 30-1 Diploma Exam Manager and currently an Assistant Lecturer in the Faculty of Education at the U of A.
